The advantage that brushless motors have over brushed ones is that they do not have friction since there are no carbon brushes. Without carbon brushes, the motors are more efficient and have a longer lifespan as there is no wear (the carbon brushes in brushed motors wear out with use). They produce less noise, maintain constant torque at all speeds, do not overheat, and require no maintenance.

The maximum rotational speed of the engine in revolutions per minute. For drilling tasks, a number of revolutions up to 1500rpm is perfectly satisfactory, as there is a risk of breaking the drill bit due to the increase in temperature above that level, while for screwing tasks higher speeds can be used, especially if the material is soft such as wood or plasterboard.

From 20 to 60Nm, we can perform drilling tasks in addition to screwing. More than 60Nm is mainly encountered in impact drivers that can screw/unscrew screws that require a lot of force to rotate, such as bolts.
