Ali D'Apliaz is set to compete in one of the most dangerous sailing races when she suddenly learns of the unexpected, mysterious death of her stepfather.

Rushing back to her family home to meet her five sisters, she discovers that her father – the mysterious billionaire whom his daughters fondly call Pa Salt – has left each of them a tantalizing clue to uncover their true heritage.

Meanwhile, Ali has recently embarked on a deeply passionate love affair that will change her fate forever. Now, however, with her life turned upside down, she decides to leave the open sea races behind and follow the clue left by her father, which leads her to the icy but stunning Norway...

It is wrong that these books, the entire series by Lucinda Riley, are characterized as "fantasy." At first, I was afraid to get them because I thought they were science fiction since they refer to the myth of the Pleiades, but in the end, they have nothing to do with that. The sisters in the book series simply took their names from the myth of the Pleiades, and that's where any other reference to unreal events ends. So if that worries you, don't think about it, get the whole series, the writing of the much-missed Lucinda is classically very beautiful.
