Users generally consider the lock to be high-quality and sturdy, with a loud alarm that doesn’t go off easily without a reason. They also say it’s practical and easy to install and use, and fits different motorcycle brake discs. However, some point out that the alarm may not be loud enough or may require a strong vibration to activate, and that the lock needs maintenance and protection from rain.
I got it for my scooter, a Yamaha nmax, which has very small holes in the disc and with this lock it fits just fine.
I think it is easy for someone to cut it with a grinder, anyway everything can be broken into.
The sound is loud, and it is a good deterrent.
I have been using this lock for about a year now. It is easy to use and does its job (more like a deterrent because if someone decides to break it, I don't think they will have much difficulty). The decibel level of the alarm could be a bit higher, as in the first place I live, it is not very audible. Additionally, it should be a bit more sensitive as many times it requires a significant amount of shaking to activate. It has not been triggered any night for a year now, and I hope it never will be!
Well, I've had it for about 4 years now on my Harley which has a thick disc, pretty good BUT it needs maintenance at least once (1-2) times a year, here's a video with the review and maintenance - https://youtu.be/RSJgunfVF1Q
Good evening, so the tool may not be visually impressive, but it does its job very well. It is heavy and sturdy, and you can understand its durability. The alarm is quite loud
Very good construction... it looks sturdy, strong alarm and the good thing is that it doesn't activate with the slightest touch!!! In terms of placement on the plate, I haven't found the right way to activate the alarm yet (I just bought it yesterday - 10/05/22) and sometimes I have to press the activation button with my finger... Other than that, it's a good purchase and I highly recommend it!!! I will come back regarding the correct way to activate the alarm... it turns out it's much easier than I thought...
