I keep it in the kitchen for mild burns from cooking accidents. It is something between a gel and a cream, quite runny. I have needed it once so far, I applied a generous amount on a burn and it immediately took away the burning sensation while leaving no mark. Even though I have had it unused for years, it had not lost its effectiveness. I did not expect it to relieve the burn immediately. Very good.
