The Alpine SPS-M601 round marine speakers are two-way coaxial speakers featuring a balanced-dome PEI tweeter and a Poly-Mica cone woofer. The Centrix 813 grille is UV-resistant, while the high-temperature ABS frame and Santoprene surround help withstand marine conditions. They can operate in an infinite-baffle configuration without an enclosure and feature magnetic shielding.

Their connections are resistant to saltwater corrosion. The grille with concealed screws and the waterproof rubber mounting gasket support a watertight installation.
