The Snugpak Scorpion 2 camping tent is an igloo-style tent designed for mountaineering. Its double-wall construction features a 210T RipStop polyester flysheet with a polyurethane coating and an inner tent made of 190T nylon and polyester mesh. The flysheet and the 190T nylon floor, which has a polyurethane coating, are waterproof to 5000 mm.

The DAC Featherlite NSL poles are made of anodized aluminum with press-fit joints, and the tent seams are taped. The 50D polyester ventilation mesh also serves as a mosquito net. The tent has three vents and interior pockets. Twelve aluminum pegs and two spares are included.
