The Snugpak Scorpion 3 is an igloo-style tent that accommodates up to 3 people, with a side-by-side sleeping layout. Its low profile and double-wall construction are designed for mountaineering and provide protection from rain and strong winds. The 210t Polyester RipStop flysheet and 190t Nylon groundsheet have a polyurethane coating and a waterproof rating of 5000 mm.

The inner tent combines 190t Nylon with Polyester mesh, while the 50 D Polyester ventilation mesh keeps small insects out. The DAC® Featherlite NSL® poles are made of TH72M aluminium, with an anodised finish and press-fit joints. The tent has one door, three vents, five internal pockets on each side, and a loop at the top for a torch or lantern.
