Pal Granite pot, with a non-stick coating that resembles granite and anti-slip handles that mimic wood, with a dimension of Φ.24 cm. The Granite series utensils combine an innovative minimalist design with excellent materials and cutting-edge technology. The design aspect refers to natural materials: handles with a wood-like appearance, black cast body, and granite-like appearance on the inner surface.

However, the technical characteristics are quite complex:

  • Cast body with a magnetic base for excellent heating on induction hobs.
  • Good heat distribution at the bottom of the utensil.
  • Durable non-stick coating with 3 layers using sol-gel technology.
  • Soft-touch handles made of bakelite with stay-cool technology in a wood-like appearance.
  • Silent lid with a silicone rim made of safety glass (tempered glass).

    It is mentioned on the manufacturer's website that it is dishwasher safe, but after a few washes, the result was that the handles started peeling off and worst of all, the bottom, although not visible when wiped, leaves a terrible black residue. When I contacted the company, they responded that they recommend hand washing as it presents these problems and that the black residue is not something to be concerned about. If I hadn't lost the receipt, I would have returned the dishes the next day. I will never purchase Pal dishes again.
