Waterproof handheld walkie-talkie that keeps you connected on your adventures.
With a waterproof design1, rugged construction and a range of up to 10 kilometres2, the T92 H2O keeps you connected with family and friends. The built-in flashlight with white and red light can switch on automatically when it comes into contact with water. Press the emergency alert button to activate a hands-free call and a loud warning tone on the radio, alerting the rest of your group that you need help3. The T92 H2O includes 2 rechargeable batteries, 2 micro USB cables, 2 belt clips with a built-in whistle and a hard carry case.
Count on the T92 H2O to keep you connected on land or at sea. With an IP67 rating, it can withstand immersion for 30 minutes at a depth of up to 1 m and repel heavy rain.
Thanks to its design, it floats and is visible on the water’s surface. The flashlight switches on automatically when it falls into the water, making it easier to locate and retrieve.
The radio can send an emergency alert, so you can notify your group of any hazards you may encounter. When you press the alert button, an alert is transmitted, followed by your voice or sounds from your surroundings. This lets you communicate with other radios and warn them of imminent danger.
You can also use the whistle on the belt clip to signal that you need help. The built-in LED flashlight is useful for evening adventures, unexpected emergencies and power outages.
Choose the white light on the built-in flashlight to illuminate your way on evening excursions, during unexpected emergencies or power outages. If your adventure takes you into the dark—for example, stargazing or night hunting—and you need to read maps, charts or other documents, choose the red light. This lets you read what you need while preserving your night vision.
There are two ways to power the walkie-talkie: use the included rechargeable NiMH batteries for up to 16 hours, or three AA batteries for up to 23 hours of operation. The T92 H2O comes with a dual car charger, which lets you charge two radios at the same time while travelling by car or truck. The USB charging cables are detachable, so you can charge the device through a computer’s USB port.
With 8 channels and 121 privacy codes, you have almost 1,000 available combinations, making it easy to find an available channel.
iVOX/VOX technology works like a speakerphone and enables hands-free communication, so you can keep moving without having to stop to answer a call.
Choose one of 20 call tones for others to hear before you start speaking.
Use vibration when a call tone might be disruptive.
Use the scan function to see which channels are in use.
The low battery alert reminds you when the charge is running low.
The T92 H2O is PMR446-compatible, so it can communicate with other TLKR radios or radios from other manufacturers on the same channel and with the same sub-code.
The keypad lock prevents settings from being changed accidentally.
Enjoy hours of uninterrupted outdoor activities by choosing a high-capacity battery. High-capacity batteries are sold separately.
1 The radio meets IP67 specifications and can withstand immersion at a depth of up to 1 m for 30 minutes. The radio floats with the included NiMH batteries. It does not float with other AA batteries. Headsets should only be used in dry environments.
2 The stated communication range is based on an unobstructed path under the best possible conditions. The actual range varies depending on terrain and conditions, and is often less than the maximum possible range. It is limited by various factors, including terrain, weather conditions, electromagnetic interference and obstructions.
3 The emergency alert feature should only be used in a genuine emergency. Motorola Solutions is not responsible if the receiving group does not respond to the emergency alert.

Users are generally very satisfied, mainly praising the good range and build quality. They also mention clear sound and satisfactory battery life. However, some feel that the battery drains quickly or develops faults, while the actual range may be shorter than expected.
