The FBT HIMAXX 40 passive PA speaker is a two-way model designed for professional sound reinforcement and music or speech playback. Its enclosure is made of polypropylene using gas-assisted injection moulding and, thanks to its asymmetrical design, it can also be used as a floor monitor.

The 12" B&C woofer features a 3" voice coil, a neodymium magnet and a cast aluminium frame, while the B&C compression driver has a 1.7" voice coil and is paired with a horn offering 90° horizontal and 60° vertical coverage. The passive crossover includes a soft-trip protection circuit. The steel grille protects the woofer, while the two Neutrik NL4 Speakon sockets support connection and daisy-chaining of a second speaker.
