Review this product
  • A very good choice for those who use air conditioning and feel that the room air becomes excessively dry.

The biggest advantage of Philips NanoCloud is that it does not work with ultrasound, but with natural evaporation. The air passes through the wet filter and is enriched with very small water molecules, without creating visible steam.

Another important advantage is that it does not leave the familiar white dust that can appear with some ultrasonic humidifiers.

Also, it does not heat the water, so there is no warm steam and the water remains at room temperature.

The only point that needs attention is maintenance. The tank and the filter need regular cleaning. This may be a little more demanding than a simple ultrasonic humidifier, but I consider it a reasonable price to pay for a device that relies on a wet filter and natural evaporation.

Philips also states that, in laboratory tests, NanoCloud released up to 99% fewer bacteria compared to specific ultrasonic humidifiers. This is a laboratory result and not a guarantee that the humidifier cleans the room air.
