Description

Description

The AMG1302-T11C is an advanced ADSL2+ gateway that offers high-speed internet access via ADSL2+. It is designed with multiple WAN capabilities, suitable for future FTTH (fiber optic) deployment, with optimized investment costs (CAPEX). Additionally, it features an IEEE 802.11 b/g/n access point and a 10/100 Ethernet switch for local network (LAN) access.

2.4 GHz 11n (2x2) for excellent performance and coverage

The Zyxel AMG1302-T11C Wireless N ADSL2+ Gateway features 802.11n technology for high speed and wide coverage. With wireless speeds of up to 300 Mbps, it offers stable and reliable connections for multimedia applications and high-speed data transfer.

Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)

WPS is a standard for easy and secure creation of wireless networks. It allows the configuration of a personal secure wireless network with the press of a button or by entering a PIN code.

Strong security with SPI Firewall

The SPI Firewall operates at the network level, examining the header and footer of packets to ensure that each packet belongs to a valid session. With Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) capabilities, protection against DoS and DDoS attacks, the Zyxel AMG1302-T11C provides the first line of defense against hackers and other malicious threats.

Advanced QoS for Guaranteed Quality of Service

The AMG1302-T11C supports basic ATM QoS features. Service providers can design their QoS policies and prioritize critical services such as IPTV and VoIP, according to their service packages.

Remote management via TR-069

With support for the TR-069 protocol, providers can remotely manage and configure customer devices without interfering with the users themselves. This capability offers a true plug-and-play experience, reduces complexity during installation, and limits operational and maintenance costs.

I got it when I subscribed to Wind, not for free, I paid around 21 euros (if I remember correctly). Generally, it is a reliable little router and easy to set up. I haven't had any disconnection issues so far. When I switched companies, it still works without any problems and without needing to be set up again. It has a nice design and syncs easily and quickly at startup. With Wind's software (V3.00(ABGE.0)b7), telnet is locked by default and you need to edit the romfile.cfg to change the passwords. There is difficulty with the internet; I can't find a manual with the correct CLI commands for this router. This is only for use in telnet, for the rest you don't need them. So, it's a decent little router and everything is good

I got it for free due to the connection, it malfunctioned on its own and they replaced it for free.
I have an issue with the latest update, small interruptions especially in the morning, easy to install but I definitely wouldn't buy it at any cost.

For those who got this router from Wind, know that the latest firmware provided by Zyxel from their site is not compatible with Wind. Only the firmware provided by Wind from their site is compatible. For some reason, it is very difficult to nearly impossible to downgrade the firmware.
Overall, it seems like a decent router, but I will get back to you once I have used it more.

Edit: The little router seems very stable. I am impressed by its Wi-Fi, which sometimes picks up down on the street, two floors below when I leave the house. I connect a TV, 2 mobile phones, and a PC, all wirelessly, and it works like a charm. I believe it is very fair for its price, especially if the internet service provider gives it to you for free.

At first, it was something else!!! After 2 months, the wifi is not good, meaning at 5 meters it's difficult. However, for the computer, it's just fine
