Icy Dock brought innovation with the new MB982SP-1S 2.5” to 3.5” SATA/SAS SSD & HDD converter. The MB982 is based on the popular MB882SP-1S-1B, improved for better performance. The new converter features a fully metal construction that ensures better cooling conditions and robust build, ideal for industrial and commercial applications.

With improved capabilities, the MB982 supports both SAS and SATA drives, including the Western Digital VelociRaptor 10K RPM units. SmartFit technology protects 12.5 mm and 15 mm height drives, securing the drive in place, regardless of whether it is thin or wider.
