Approximately at some point it suddenly stopped reading DVDs. It only plays CDs. It has played around 30 DVD movies and struggled to write 5-6 DVDs. The noise it made was not bothersome to me. It seems that the laser quality is poor.

Before completing time, it stopped reading the discs. I sent it for inspection and they replaced it with a new one. After 4 months, it stopped recognizing the DL DVDs. After 3 months, it stopped recording discs. Disappointment!! Oh, immortal Plextor!!
