The Metabo BAE 75 belt sander features a 1010 W motor and Vario-Tacho-Constamatic (VTC) electronics, which let you adjust the belt speed to suit the material. The speed remains almost constant under load, while the belt can be changed quickly and without tools. The contact plate measures 85 x 150 mm, and the sanding belt measures 75 x 533 mm.

The machine stand and length guide allow it to be used as a stationary sander and help guide workpieces. The auxiliary handle can be moved and fitted in two positions. The dust extraction system includes a dust bag and an adapter for connecting a vacuum cleaner.
