The goal of the game is to avoid collecting cards. Each card has a number of bull heads on it, which count as negative points at the end of the round. The game progresses quickly as all players simultaneously choose a card from their hand. The secret is to place your card in the correct sequence, being careful not to be the one who places the sixth card in the row. If that happens, then... Take 5! You will have to take all the previous cards in the row and add them to your stack of negative points.
Take 5! is one of the most popular and entertaining card games worldwide, created by the famous designer Wolfgang Kramer. It combines strategy with luck and the anticipation of your opponents' moves. It is the ideal game for large groups, as it supports up to ten players, offering a fast pace and plenty of laughter, especially when someone is forced to take an entire row of cards full of negative points.

Everything you need to know to play
At the beginning of each round, 10 cards are dealt to each player and 4 cards are placed face up in the center of the table, forming the start of four horizontal rows.
In each round, all players secretly choose one card from their hand and place it face down in front of them. Once everyone has chosen, the cards are revealed simultaneously. The cards are placed in the rows starting from the player with the lowest numbered card to the one with the highest, following two basic rules:
1. Ascending order: Your card must be placed in a row where the last card has a lower value than yours.
2. Smallest difference: If your card can be placed in more than one row, it must be placed in the row where the difference between your card and the last card of the row is the smallest.
The game becomes risky when a row reaches 5 cards. If a player's card must be placed as the sixth card in a row, that player takes the 5 existing cards of the row (which count as penalty points) and their card becomes the first card of the new row.
Also, if someone plays a card that is lower than all the last cards of the four rows, they are required to choose any row, take all its cards, and start the row again with their card. The game ends when a player accumulates a total of 66 bull heads after several rounds, and the winner is the one with the fewest points.
