The texts of the correspondence should be studied without judging the individuals, but rather looking at the effort they made to restore Orthodox theology to its sources.

And mainly to see the Orthodox theology of Fr. Ioannis Romanidis, as it appeared in his dissertation, which he later supplemented with more recent observations, as well as the tenacity of this new theologian who was unaware of the Greek reality and was surprised to encounter it, yet did not waver from his views.

But at the same time, we should also consider the tenacity of Panagiotis Trembelas, in what he perceived as a differentiation of various theological positions.

And in the end, we must appreciate that both met precisely because they had good intentions.
