"Honest" for its price. I would like a slightly better fastening system on the mounting bases because the straps do not give me much confidence, although tightening the straps properly is sufficient. The only negative that deprives it of an excellent rating is that the instructions are from another similar product and this is a bit confusing. This is mentioned at the end of the instruction leaflet, which makes the confusion even greater.

Quality-wise, it's okay for 30€. The instructions inside the box are obviously for a different older version. No relation to the product in the box. There are some accessories like 2 straps that are neither shown in the pictures nor mentioned anywhere what they are or how to use them. I would not recommend it.

The product came with metal straps instead of plastic ones. The only disadvantage I find is in the quick connectors that adjust the angle of the base for the bicycles. It would be better if they were round or had some other adjustment to make them more user-friendly. I haven't taken a route yet, but I will come back for a rating soon

Very good for the money it costs, it came to me with all the straps made of metal and screwed onto the base, if you put all the straps as they should be, nothing moves... It comes on and off very easily in 2 minutes.. I don't know if the car's trunk, etc. plays a role and how it is, but it fit very well for me! 5-hour trip without any problem with 1 bicycle.. Absolutely satisfied.

In my own Port luggage rack, the hooks did not hold securely, so I made a modification to make sure they stayed in place. The rubber bases did not suit me 100% either. The sponges are very soft, and with 2 bicycles, the frame almost touches the car. They will soon need to be replaced. It is not suitable for long and difficult journeys.

The most useless thing I have bought.... My frame does not fit the brackets, as for the fastening with the nylon ropes, it's simply a joke.

I use it with three metal bicycles, one for children and two for adults, for short distances up to 30 minutes with a little attention to potholes without sudden turns, it is good. For longer distances, especially in the summer, the straps loosen and need to be tightened again. I made a trip from Attica to Achaia and tightened the straps three times because they had loosened, they require attention!!! For its price, it is good... But it needs attention, its sponges do not last long and it scratches the car.

The photo has nothing to do with the actual BORMANN Car Rack for 3 Bicycles BWR5044. The rack has plastic hooks to tighten the straps, and the fasteners are made of rope, which does not provide security during the trip. I replaced the plastic parts with metal strap buckles and kept the plastic ones for a second tightening on the strap. This is the only way to ensure safety during the trip. If you don't want to come up with a solution, don't buy it

Good and convenient city for children's bicycles at a very good price. It does its job and more.

I suggest not buying such things from the internet, because I did it and I made a mistake.. They don't fit well on my car and they also don't fit my bicycles.. only very flat things, impossible because they touch the ground.. Also.. three bicycles? Nah, unless you solve handlebars, etc..

Whatever screw or bolt it has on top or bottom simply "wears out" after 3-4 uses. They need to be replaced with stainless steel ones. If you don't want to go through the process, give something more.
