Here is the central theme of this book: In this modern development of cosmology, evolution, and the human genome, is there still the possibility of a fully satisfying harmony between scientific and religious views of the world? I answer with a resounding YES.

In my view, there is no contradiction in being a genuine scientist and a person who believes in a God who cares personally for each one of us. The jurisdiction of science is to investigate nature. The jurisdiction of God lies in the spiritual realm, a kingdom that cannot be explored with the tools and language of science.

It must be examined with the heart, the mind, and the soul. And the mind must find a way to encompass both realms.
