If you want to prefer this brand, choose this blue one and not the cheap one called SA510 or SA500, they have nothing to do with reliability. I have had this one for 4 years as my main drive with Windows and a bunch of games for online gaming mainly, so that the tracks load quickly, and it hasn't broken down yet. I have the version with 1TB

This review is about the capacity: 500 GB

Replaced an HDD in a 10-year-old laptop... Without 'flying' or 'dragging', it proves to be an economically viable solution to transfer your data smoothly and have a decently fast portable computer again within a day... Note: the transfer of the operating system and data was done using AOMEI Backupper software, not the accompanying WD (Acronis) software, without any issues...

We put 2 in one server in mirror RAID configuration and the RAID controller gave us read speeds of 900 MB and write speeds of 200 MB. The write speed was a bit lower than expected. The server is an HP Gen 8 with a CPU of 2x8 cores/16 threads at 1.8 GHz, and 128 GB of HP DDR3 Memory 2Rx4 PC3-10600R. The controller is the HP Smart Array B110i RAID
