I have not worked with any Dremel to be able to compare, but I am satisfied with the hobby use I make of it (mainly using it as a mini wheel for cutting, polishing, sanding, and wood carving).
Compatible with Dremel accessories as well as the Dremel Workstation 220 (for those wondering). Accessories such as the speed clic and the quick-release chuck will make your life easier because the system with the key is disappointing if someone changes accessories frequently. Also compatible with the plunge router - Dremel 335 Plunge Router and the Dremel 575, 576, 577, 565, 568, 670, and 678 attachments (I have them and they fit).
What disappointed me somewhat is that although the part surrounding the rotating shaft (the shaft itself is metal) and on which some accessories are screwed (e.g. the part that screws onto the workstation to stabilize the tool) is plastic. I would prefer it to be made of metal, but perhaps they did it for weight reasons (of course, in the workstation, the corresponding nut that tightens it onto the base is unfortunately also plastic, as are all the Dremel attachments I have in general).
It is quite powerful and even at the first speed setting, it is relatively fast. If someone wants lower speeds for greater control, they may need to look for something else, possibly with a pressure button rather than a speed setting selector.
Δεν έχω δουλέψει με κάποιο Dremel για να μπορώ να συγκρίνω αλλά είμαι ικανοποιημένος για την ερασιτεχνική χρήση που κάνω (κυρίως το χρησιμοποιώ ως mini τροχό για κόψιμο, για γυάλισμα, για τρίψιμο και σκάλισμα ξύλου).
Συμβατό με τα αξεσουάρ των Dremel καθώς και με το Dremel Workstation 220 (για όποιον αναρωτιέται). Εξαρτήματα όπως το speed clic και ο πολυσφιγκτήρας (ταχυτσοκ) θα σου κάνουν τη ζωή πιο εύκολη γιατί το σύστημα με το κλειδάκι είναι απογοητευτικό αν κάποιος αλλάζει συχνά εξαρτήματα. Επίσης συμβατό με τη βυθιζόμενη κάθετη φρέζα - Dremel 335 Plunge Router και τα εξαρτήματα Dremel 575, 576, 577, 565, 568, 670 και 678 (τα έχω και κουμπώνουν).
Αυτό που με απογοήτευσε καπως είναι ότι αν και heavy duty το κομμάτι που περιβάλει τον άξονα περιστροφής (ο άξονας είναι μεταλλικός) και στο οποίο βιδώνουν κάποια αξεσουάρ (πχ είναι το κομμάτι που βιδώνει πάνω στο workstation για να σταθεροποιείται το εργαλείο) είναι πλαστικό.. θα το προτιμούσα από μέταλλο αλλά ίσως το έκαναν για το βάρος (βέβαια και στο workstation το αντίστοιχο καρυδάκι που το σφύγκει πάνω στη βάση είναι δυστυχώς επίσης πλαστικό όπως και σε όλα τα εξαρτήματα της Dremel που έχω γενικότερα).
Είναι αρκετά δυνατό και ακόμα και στην πρώτη σκάλα είναι σχετικά γρήγορο. Αν κάποιος θέλει αρκετά χαμηλές στροφές για μεγαλύτερο έλεγχο ίσως θα πρέπει να κοιτάξει κάτι άλλο πιθανώς με κουμπί πίεσης κι όχι επιλογέα θέσης σκάλας.
