I have not worked with any Dremel to be able to compare, but I am satisfied with the hobby use I make of it (mainly using it as a mini wheel for cutting, polishing, sanding, and wood carving).
Compatible with Dremel accessories as well as the Dremel Workstation 220 (for those wondering). Accessories such as the speed clic and the quick-release chuck will make your life easier because the system with the key is disappointing if someone changes accessories frequently. Also compatible with the plunge router - Dremel 335 Plunge Router and the Dremel 575, 576, 577, 565, 568, 670, and 678 attachments (I have them and they fit).
What disappointed me somewhat is that although the part surrounding the rotating shaft (the shaft itself is metal) and on which some accessories are screwed (e.g. the part that screws onto the workstation to stabilize the tool) is plastic. I would prefer it to be made of metal, but perhaps they did it for weight reasons (of course, in the workstation, the corresponding nut that tightens it onto the base is unfortunately also plastic, as are all the Dremel attachments I have in general).
It is quite powerful and even at the first speed setting, it is relatively fast. If someone wants lower speeds for greater control, they may need to look for something else, possibly with a pressure button rather than a speed setting selector.
