This book is a manual - an aid for Romanian as a foreign language and is addressed both to Greek students and to the teachers who teach it.

The manual, as an essential tool for language learning, during personal study, as well as organized lessons, comes to fill a significant gap in the teaching of the Romanian language to Greeks.

This volume is the result of the teaching activities developed by the author over several years within the framework of the Romanian language teaching/learning courses as a foreign language in the Department of Balkan Studies at the University of Western Macedonia, (Florina).

The book is both a detailed aid to the "Limba Romana pentru studentii straini" method of the University of Bucharest, and an autonomous manual that guides the student in learning the Romanian language, and elements of history and culture, as they are found in the texts, expressions, and thematic vocabulary.

The selected texts are rich in stylistic variety and constitute authentic material of Romanian culture, while the thematic vocabulary facilitates both the understanding of the semantic field of the topics and the acquisition of communicative and translation skills.
