The problem of the duplication of the cube (or the Delian problem) has occupied mathematicians for many centuries.

The ancient Greek mathematicians, having determined the impossibility of solving it with a ruler and compass, devised other ingenious methods of solution using various curves (different from the circle). They even invented solutions using kinetic geometry.
