THEOLOGY AND ECUMENISM is a scientific series for the publication or re-publication of studies and handbooks for higher education focusing on the interpretation of the faith of the Orthodox Church as dogmatic formulation and textual recording.
This is done according to the patristic editing and synodal act, in accordance with contemporary interpretation and contribution of Orthodox Theology today, and in relation to the historical course and continuity of the ecclesiastical community.
Additionally, the series will host studies related to the Christian Ecumenism, the dialogue of the Orthodox Church and Theology with Christians of other confessions, as well as generally with modern humanity.
The series begins with the re-publication of the work of the blessed professor Nikolaos Ath. Matsoukas, from the Theological School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, a work that constitutes the culmination of a creative path of theological endeavors in Thessaloniki with international impact.
The head of the series is Despoina Ath. Liāliou, Professor at the A.U.Th.
