Theology and Ecumenism is a scientific series for the publication or re-publication of studies and manuals for higher education focused on the interpretation of the faith of the Orthodox Church as a dogmatic formulation and textual recording.
And this is done in the context of patristic processing and synodal action, according to contemporary interpretation and contribution of Orthodox Theology today, as well as in relation to the historical course and continuity of the ecclesiastical community.
Additionally, the series will host studies related to the Christian Ecumenism, the dialogue of the Orthodox Church and Theology with Christians of other denominations, but also generally with the modern person.
The series begins with the re-publication of the work of the late Professor Nikolaos Ath. Matsouka from the Theological School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, a work that represents the culmination of a creative path of theological processes in Thessaloniki with international impact.
The responsible for the series is Despoina Ath. Lialiou, Professor at A.U.Th.
