This book is not intended for specialists. Specialists know much more than what is contained in this monograph. However, it is aimed at a practically and substantively demanding reader.

By this, I mean the reader who would like the possibly scattered material about a major poet to be methodically gathered, so that they can enjoy it and utilize it in various ways: as a kind of pleasure or satisfaction of an entirely personal curious and thirsty reading disposition; as a means of interpretive approach and understanding of many Seferis poems that have at times been considered difficult, obscure, or even dark.

As documented and responsible material that could contribute to the organization of another and higher-quality lesson, provided that the reader happens to be an educator; finally, as necessary supplementary material that would significantly aid those participating in the various Greek examination systems.
