It has a sufficient thickness considering that usually, mats of 6mm are sold at this price. According to the description, its material is a blend of TPE/EVA. This theoretically makes it harder than an EVA mat (EVA mat = very soft, like a camping mattress) and provides better support, which I can confirm from personal experience. It has not sunk at all so far despite its elasticity.
Now, regarding its use, for yoga, a harder or thinner mat may be better for better balance. For exercises that require intense mobility (HIIT), it may slip a little.
To keep it clean after exercise, I wipe it with a damp microfiber cloth.
Finally, although it is not intended for such use, I recommend it for sunbathing on the balcony.
