THEOLOGY AND THE OIKUMENE is a scientific series for the publication, or the re-publication, of studies and manuals for higher education focused on the interpretation of the faith of the Orthodox Church as a dogmatic expression and textual record.
And this in accordance with the Patristic processing and Synodal action, with the contemporary interpretation and contribution of Orthodox Theology today, but also in correlation with the historical course and continuity of the ecclesiastical community.
Furthermore, the series will house studies related to the Christian Oikumene, the dialogue of the Orthodox Church and Theology with Christians of other denominations, and generally with the modern human being.
The series begins with the re-publication of the work of the blessed professor Nikolaos Ath. Matsoukas, of the Theological School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, a work that represents the culmination of a creative course of theological processes in Thessaloniki with an international impact.
The series coordinator is Despoina Ath. Lialiou, Professor at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
