Theology and Ecumenism is a scientific series for the publication, or re-publication, of studies and manuals for higher education aimed at interpreting the faith of the Orthodox Church as a dogmatic expression and textual record.
And this is in accordance with the patristic processing and synodal action, with the contemporary interpretation and contribution of Orthodox Theology today, but also in relation to the historical course and continuity of the ecclesiastical community.
Additionally, the series will house studies related to the Christian Ecumenism, the dialogue of the Orthodox Church and Theology with Christians of other denominations, and generally with the modern human being.
The series begins with the re-publication of the work of the late Professor Nikolaos Ath. Matsoukas of the Theological School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, a work that culminates a creative path of theological processes in Thessaloniki with an international impact.
The series coordinator is Despoina Ath. Lialiou, Professor at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
