THE FATE OF THE GALAXY IS IN GOOD HANDS... OR IS IT?

Haviland Taff is an honest space trader who loves cats. How did this proud owner of the last functional disperser, that powerful ship of the legendary Earth Empire, end up among the worst criminals in the universe?

In any case, the most powerful weapon in the galaxy is in good hands – hands that now possess the ability to mutate and clone the genetic material of thousands of beings, alien and otherwise.

With this unique equipment at his disposal, Taff travels from planet to planet, offering his help to the colonists... for a fee, of course.

Hordes of sea monsters, a planet addicted to reproduction, a dictator who infects the population with plagues to achieve his goals... In each of these cases, the only thing separating people from destruction is Taff's ingenuity and his reputation as a man of integrity, in a universe full of scoundrels.

A rich blend of humor, adventure, compassion, and all the things that give value to human existence.

Read an excerpt

Except for Rika Donstar, none of the other conspirators knew how to make discreet moves. The other three turned and fixed their gazes on the door and the man who had just entered. He was towering, almost two and a half meters tall, and his large, flabby stomach bulged over a thin metal belt. He had big hands, a long, strangely expressionless face, and his body had an awkward, stiff posture. His skin was as white as bleached bone, without the slightest hair. He wore shiny blue pants and a deep burgundy shirt with puffed sleeves, which had started to fray at the edges. He must have felt the gazes pinned on him because he turned his pale, expressionless face and looked at them. He kept looking at them until Seliz Vaan was the first to look away, then Jeffrey Lion, and finally Anitas. "Who is he?" asked Katz Nevis, the cybernetic.
