The mythology of our time is the freedom of the individual as a possibility of universal communication, which ceases to be experienced as a navel-gazing nostalgia of the self, to encompass the neighbor and the future, to connect creativity with inner openness and responsibility.

If Paparrigopoulos introduced the myth of Greek immortality, Dionysios Solomos claimed the miracle of resurrection, not as a natural fact, of course, but as an internal rebirth in the triumph of surprise.
