The central story is simple: Markos, a forty-something sociologist with an academic career and a writing background, married in Paris with two children, meets 28-year-old Olga, an emerging actress who, after a failed marriage, lives alone in Athens, and they spend an unforgettable ten days together.
Since then, the two characters begin to dangerously walk the tightrope of desire that they themselves stretch: he always with a safety net, she constantly flirting with the dark allure of emptiness.
The choice of the two cities, Athens - Paris, as the focal points of their fragile balance, does not simply obey the dictates of cosmopolitanism. The distance emerges as a protagonist of love, but also as a valuable alibi for its deterioration.
