Political Psychology, emphasizing particularly the political character of the sciences in general and Psychology in particular, in the sense of the "neutrality" of the sciences and their research outcomes, investigates the relationships between the individual, society, and politics.

Its goal is the empowerment of citizens through their scientific knowledge and information. By undertaking research actions and initiatives in collaboration with other related scientific disciplines and fields, Political Psychology intervenes (actively) proactively, diagnostically, and consultatively-therapeutically seeking and/or promoting dialogue and communication between citizens (groups of citizens, movements) and political authority.

With few exceptions, the Social Sciences remain "blind" regarding the psychological aspects of social and political processes. Analyses of politics, power, and institutions are more influenced by state decisions and social and economic dependencies.

Even though Social Sciences are not attached to the actions of great men, analyses of social structures do not take into account psychological structures. But why is Psychology excluded from the realm of the Political and Social?
