The material of this work includes, firstly, an Introduction to Civil Law that traditionally refers to legal rules, sources, and their interpretation.

It follows with two parts: The first Part is dedicated to rights and their subjects, namely natural and legal persons, the functioning of rights, and the statute of limitations. The second Part encompasses the material of legal transactions, including formation, distinctions, defects, and representation.

Each Part consists of a small number of chapters - paragraphs. In each chapter, there is a bibliography and an outline of the material, followed by simple examples for processing. References to case law are continuous and often verbatim.

Each paragraph concludes with a distinct reference to court decisions, so that familiarity with them begins early. At the same time, every possible effort has been made to ensure that the book is useful to all practitioners of law.

For the convenience of the reader, a detailed index of laws and an alphabetical index have been prepared at the end.
