    It was applied on the roof terrace only on the balconies where there was a problem with water seeping through cracks. Of course, cement was applied beforehand to create slopes toward the drains. Vitex Steganol bituminous waterproofing varnish is based on specially processed bitumen and solvents. It is touch-dry in 20–30 minutes and forms a protective film that resists water, acid solutions and alkalis.

It is used to waterproof and protect concrete and metal surfaces, such as roofs, basement walls, foundations, underground drainage pipes and tanks. It can also be used as a primer for bonding bituminous membranes, diluted with 20% petrol. Apply cold using a grass brush, paintbrush, roller or spray gun to a smooth, clean and dry surface free of dust, oil, rust and loose material.
