Vitex Steganol bituminous waterproofing varnish is made with specially processed bitumen and solvents. It forms a protective film and dries quickly. It is used to waterproof and protect concrete and metal surfaces, such as flat roofs, basement walls, foundations, underground drainage pipes and tanks.

It can also be used as a primer for bonding bituminous membranes when diluted with gasoline. Apply cold using a grass brush, paintbrush, roller or spray gun. The surface must be smooth, clean and dry, free from dust, oil, rust and loose material. Do not apply to expanded or extruded polystyrene products. It is susceptible to petroleum products.

  • Dilution for priming: 20% with gasoline
  • Dilution for waterproofing protection: 10% with gasoline
