Odysseus, king of Ithaca, sets sail with his ships and companions from Troy to his beloved island, the dreamlike Ithaca.

But the gods of Olympus have other plans for him. The god Poseidon, angry with him, torments him through many incredible adventures. And while they think he is lost, he manages to return alone to his palace, delivers justice, and finally finds peace and tranquility in the arms of his wife, the faithful Penelope.
