THEOLOGY AND THE ECUMENE is a scientific series for the publishing or re-publishing of studies and manuals for higher education focusing on the interpretation of the faith of the Orthodox Church as a dogmatic formulation and textual recording.
And this is done according to the patristic processing and synodal action, according to modern interpretation and the contribution of Orthodox Theology today, but also in relation to the historical course and continuity of the ecclesiastical community.
Additionally, the series will accommodate studies related to the Christian Ecumene, the dialogue of the Orthodox Church and Theology with Christians of other denominations, as well as generally with modern humanity.
The series begins with the re-publication of the work of the late professor Nikolaos Ath. Matsoukas, from the Theological School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, a work that constitutes the culmination of a creative course of theological processes in Thessaloniki with international impact.
