It is a bit difficult to use for someone who is starting from scratch to learn a foreign language!! There is detail in things that are not generally needed, it confuses you! If I had browsed through it in a bookstore, I definitely wouldn't have chosen it!!

The book will definitely not get you to B1-2, but it is a very good "taste" of the language to decide if you want to learn it. You need to pay attention in each chapter to have thoroughly understood what you learned because it will be needed in the next one. Obviously, there are limitations to self-teaching (you don't practice speaking and you don't have someone to correct you when you do), but you gain some small foundations (you can supplement by watching videos and finding extra vocabulary). The truth is that reaching 60-70% of the book, I got stuck; maybe I did something wrong, maybe it's the book's fault. The positive thing is that it made me realize that I like the language, and soon I will start regular classes

There are much better methods that have lessons with stories, so you can learn unknown words through associations and not easily forget them; I can't understand what the author was thinking when writing this. To choose the right book for you, it's better to visit a bookstore, browse through other methods, and select the one that will inspire you! I fell for it because I got them from the internet influenced by the reviews I read; I got Italian and French without having any idea about their content, now they will go on the shelf and be replaced.

I read the very good reviews and so I chose it. Unfortunately, the book is written in a way that confuses you instead of helping you. If I didn't have some knowledge of the language beforehand, I don't think I would be able to make sense of it. I would recommend doing more market research because I'm sure there are more helpful books available.

It confuses you a little in some points with the way it explains them. I believe they could be a little more simplified and elaborated so that it doesn't seem chaotic

The price of it is amazing! I took a look at the words and it definitely gets you to a B1 level, maybe even B2. It covers you in vocabulary, grammar, it has texts and notes. Of course, you don't have the ability to practice listening and speaking. For those two, you have to find another way to practice. I would definitely recommend it though, over any other self-study book!

Well done to the author, today I received it and I immediately started reading and doing the exercises of the first chapter. Very good, I recommend it!
