The use I make is for recording video from a camera to a recorder (atomos), and mainly I record in 4k ProRes 10bit. Out of 6 drives, 3 of them failed after about 10 uses. I find it strange, because all my SD cards were and will always be Sandisk, because they simply never fail, but these particular SSDs are either not meant for heavy use or they just can't withstand continuous use with high data rates.

I bought the disc when it was on sale for 19 euros.... So... it's fine.
It normally costs 40 euros and something.

I have had it for about a month and I can say that it perfectly meets my requirements, I highly recommend it.

I have had it for about 4 months on an hp and it really revived. Before, it took about 10 minutes to start, now it starts in about 10 seconds and I have a desktop interface. It's worth the money!

He and the Crucial MX are top in their category and in terms of their price.

Although now I would suggest going for an nvme with much better performance for a little more money, unless one wants to use it as an external SSD, which is worth it.

I have the 4TB installed in an external case. Purchased for around 320€.
Fast and doesn't heat up too much. For now, everything is good.

I decided to evaluate it since I have been using it since 10/2018 on a desktop with loaded operating system and basic programs (basically, I use it) and I also have a 1TB HDD for storage.
For normal everyday office use, internet, and very little light gaming, it is super.
Its lifespan has dropped to 99% after 2.5 years!!!!
More or less, all (branded) SSDs are value for money nowadays and their performance (and price) justify every user to have at least one for Windows since they boot in 5 seconds...

It was purchased on black Friday for 49.90 euros (500gb) with free shipping. The hard drive was cloned with another program as the Sandisk dashboard (which you download from the Sandisk website) sent me to an inactive page where theoretically I would download Acronis. In the end, I used the free trial version of Macrium reflect, so everything is fine. With a 60% full disk, it reached 540MB/s-520MB/s instead of the promised 560-540 by the company, which is quite good considering it doesn't have D-RAM, so as it fills up, it becomes slower. It is important not to completely fill it up as it reduces its lifespan. Having 10-20% free space is fine, while the TBW (data rewrites) is 200 Terabytes, which means its expected lifespan exceeds a decade. We will see its reliability over time, but so far it seems to be a good product. Update in 6 months.

Although fast, it has the biggest problem as a hard drive, it disables itself from Windows and does not appear on the disks, and then it requires manual formatting and creating a new partition to be activated again .... obviously all data on the disk is lost ... this has happened 6 times in the 2.5 years that I have had it. I would have returned it, but the problem appeared after 4 months. Of course, it may have been a faulty one, I don't know.

I bought two, a 500GB and a 250GB. The 250GB went into a very old computer that didn't even support 64-bit operating systems and had an old motherboard. I expected to lose speed, but it still worked exceptionally well and the system is very fast for its hardware. The price is completely justified and very good compared to the Samsung Evo ones that I have tried and appreciate. The 500GB went into a more modern laptop with 4GB of memory and Windows 10. One can understand that the disk will be used quite a bit for virtual memory, but it still worked flawlessly and extremely quickly.

I put it in an old laptop about a year ago, and so far there hasn't been any problem. I haven't seen much of its software because I didn't need to. Very good for its price (I got it for €59 for 500GB), definitely a value-for-money choice for upgrading a laptop.

Two years on a laptop, in combination with memory, gave a breath of life. Reliable so far, without any problems.

At 60€ during the Black Friday of 2018, it was a very good price, but its responsiveness and performance are mediocre. The software is slow and tends to freeze a bit.
I wouldn't choose it again, for an additional +10/15€ I would gladly go for the Crucial MX500, which performs much better despite being similar.

Last October it was 250 euros and this year I got it for 60 euros on black friday..!
I believe it is the best purchase I made this year..!
5 years ago I bought a Samsung 840 EVO 120GB for 85 euros...
I consider Sandisk to be one of the most reliable brands, especially now that it is owned by Western Digital...

Theoretically, I am covered for the next 10 years with the 500GB one...
In general, guys, prefer the more expensive series of each company...

The best you can buy at this price. I connected it with a SATA to Thunderbolt device and it goes incredibly fast compared to USB 2.0. The speed is almost multiplied by five, especially for files that are difficult to copy/edit. You wonder if it read/copy your files in lighter tasks. Of course, it will show later how durable it is in continuous access. However, after 2 months of intensive use, it hasn't shown anything negative.
