This new book consists, as previously mentioned, of two parts. The first part contains monologues from works written at the beginning and middle of our era that began after the War. At that time, when optimism prevailed that everything would be fine and everyone would be restored happily.

The heroes of these initial monologues suspect nothing; the optimism of the time does not allow them any suspicion or doubt about the situations they are experiencing. They act, perfectly in tune with the imperatives of modern times, having firmly bitten the bullet and not knowing where they stand or where they are; they simply run breathlessly and anxiously, trying to realize their dreams promised by others.

However, what they are living is not something so easy, and because they are still very much alive, beneath the surface of optimism and intended joy, the eternal mechanisms of fate violently operate in their subconscious, seeking to surface and inform them in time before it is too late.

Yet the crust of the surface is still very hard, almost impenetrable, thus creating vibrations, micro-quakes, and pulses that generate behaviors and reactions at the limits of the tragicomic. All these forces, which find no outlet to become words and knowledge but remain muffled, unexplained situations, become obsessions, extreme, absurd actions, hysterical outbursts that torment the heroes and try to inform us as an audience about what exactly is happening, provoking our laughter or pity.

In the second part, all the monologues have been written recently. The time has finally shown its true face. The glass of optimism has shattered by the stones of daily oppression. People have stopped believing in its imperatives and are forced to follow them through economic coercion. The delusions have taken a walk. Things have become serious.

Now, what torments them is allowed to be articulated and brought to light. What is happening to them is so dreadful that even though they want to ignore it, they cannot. They stand close to an end, and the new beginning they are about to start does not bode well.

In moments of solitude, they express their pain, daring to acknowledge what they are living, but it is completely impossible for them to understand the causes. The chaos that would follow if they understood the causes frightens them, and they tolerate the economic coercions of the governments as a final act of extension. As you can understand, the atmosphere in the second part is heavier because there is great doubt about the nature of the continuation.
