Real Filament PLA filament has a diameter of 2.85 mm and is designed for 3D printing. PLA is easy to work with and suitable for beginners, while its consistent diameter helps ensure smooth extrusion. It is used for prints such as prototypes and decorative objects.
PLA is a bio-based, biodegradable thermoplastic. The printing temperature ranges from 195 to 205 °C, depending on the characteristics of the printer’s hot end. The filament can be printed on an unheated surface using Blue Painter’s Tape or Kapton tape. For a glass surface, using 3DLAC spray is recommended.
