Just like love, smoking "catches the eye, descends to the lips...". The flirtation of the gaze with smoke becomes attraction. Attraction leads to passion. Passion leads to a relationship. And, many years later, this relationship transforms into a difficult "cohabitation". The smoke of the cigarette encloses emotions, thoughts, images of the self and our world, hopes, and fears that accompany the smoking function.

This is a story of "love and anarchy", unfolding well hidden where some can penetrate more easily than we can: in the unconscious, where all the paradoxes happen.

Smoking can become one of the most effective methods of self-knowledge, "cleansing" the gaze from all kinds of smoke screens.
