Six Christmas ornaments escape one night from a Christmas tree and travel the world on a flying carpet. One fantastical adventure follows another: from the birthday of the firefly princess in the dreamy forest with the hyacinths to distant Bali, where balloons and balls live, and from there to Cloudland with its floral clouds and to the seaside of the Fireworks Island with starfish and love-struck shooting stars. However, the Christmas tree in the living room is left bare, without ornaments. This does not please little Roula Dreamer at all, who is determined to find a way to bring the runaway ornaments back...
