Description

At the end of the 18th century, the French Revolution brought the bourgeoisie to political power, completing the liberation of those productive forces that would support the capitalist mode of production.

The world changed dramatically, but not for the benefit of the many. The bourgeoisie, the leaders of the "Third Estate" who seized power at that time, constituted about 3% of the population, just like the aristocrats and hierarchs they replaced.

In 1917, amidst the turmoil of World War I, a new revolution dramatically changed the terms of politics and, along with it, history. The transfer of power to the Soviets did not foresee leaders and intermediaries. On its own terms, with its own organization, and its own institutions, the labor movement – and along with it all those who with their toil build human civilization – brought to power the overwhelming majority of people.

It measured the world by its own needs, its own interests. A new story began for humanity, a hundred years ago from our difficult present days, under the banners and slogans of the Bolsheviks.
