Description

Description

One of the most mature and significant works of Aristotle. Along with the "Politics," they constitute the "philosophy concerning humans" of the Stagirite philosopher, which addresses issues related to the social coexistence of people.

The subject of this work is human actions, that is, the individual's behavior, through which one is led to happiness. Directly related to actions is virtue, which Aristotle defines as a state aimed at the mean (the point between excess and deficiency).

The attainment of virtue is not easy and requires as fundamental characteristics of people and their actions accurate knowledge, choice and preference, as well as stability.
