Readers will learn more about the content of the journey by reading the book. I will note only a Seferian observation: "It is not known when the monasteries began to be carved. Perhaps in the time of Saint Basil, and they continued until the times of the Arab invasions and beyond." Almost everywhere on the walls of the stone-carved monasteries, the invocation "Lord, help!" can be found. The time of Saint Basil falls in the 4th century AD, and the invasions continue many centuries later.
How can there be a correspondence or comparison between the populations of today’s consumer society and those of fear and slavery in the early Christian centuries, left at the mercy of their successive invaders? Under a sky indifferent within an enigmatic and mathematically immeasurable universe. If we think a little more, we would see that both populations – the well-off and the other – are ultimately in the same position.
