The publication of the correspondence between Andreas Moustoxydis and Emilios Typaldos, edited by Dimitris Arvanitakis, gives me the opportunity to dare to say once again that: the degree of civilization of a country is not measured by the legacies of the past, but by the respect that the heirs show towards the works and days of the past.
