And to confess openly, I am unconditionally devoted to the charm that these wands exert on me; as if each one has touched me separately and enchanted me forever.

I would say the same even if their inspiration, their creator, were not my seventh cousin, if I did not even know his name, or if he were someone long deceased from our known world, either as a physical entity or - along with his magical wand - as a rare species.

But even better that he is my brother.
